Envisioning Quality Universal Integrated Treatment by Year 2030
People around the world are burdened by mental health problems, but few are able to access care for them, particularly in low-resource settings. Here at the EQUITY Lab, and in collaboration with multiple academic and iNGO partners, researchers work on projects which explore varying mental health needs across global communities.
We work towards understanding how to address structural and societal barriers to mental health care, such as cultural stigma and lack of providers, as well as understanding psychological, biological, and social determinants of mental health.
